Road crashes kill 3

Three people were killed and three others injured in road accidents in the country yesterday and Wednesday.
Our Pabna correspondent reports, a senior lawyer of Pabna court was killed when a truck hit the rickshaw he was riding on in Pabna bus terminal area on Wednesday night.
Emdadul Haque, 70, of Shibrampur village in Pabna Sadar upazila, was rushed to Pabna General Hospital at a critical condition where he died.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent reports, two people were injured when a bus hit a motorcycle from behind on Panchagarh-Tentulia highway of Shingpara village in Panchagarh Sadar upazila yesterday. Locals said police stopped the motorcyclist Mosharaf Hossain, 27, and his brother-in-law Sujan, 22, of the upazila, in the middle of the road for checking papers.
Our Gaibandha correspondent adds a motorcyclist died and his co-rider was injured when a truck hit the motorcycle on Rangpur-Bogra highway near Dhaterhat bazar in Sadullapur upazila of the district. The deceased was Dalim Sarker, 22, of Gobindaganj upazila.
In another incident, Bhavesh Chandra, 65, of the upazila died when he was run over by a bus while crossing the highway near Gobindaganj municipal area in the district.
