Remove obstacles to obtaining Indian visa
I am very upset to learn that in order to apply for Indian visa and e-token date online, the applicants are charged a huge amount of money by the agents who have an organised syndicate. Bangladeshis who are perfectly capable of applying for visa online get refused as the IVAC always says “application dates not available”. The general visa applicants never get an interview date. I cannot believe that the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh is not aware of this situation; perhaps it is turning a blind eye to the problem. So the visa seekers are being forced to apply through agents. A few years ago there was no e-token system. We used to fill the visa application form manually and submit at the Indian High Commission. We will appreciate if the old system is restored.
