Poor decision making by Mushfiq
Congratulations to Mushfiq on his brilliant century against India in the Asia Cup. I believe 279 run was a very competitive and defendable score. I, however, did not agree with the way he rotated the bowlers. Ziaur Rahman had just taken a wicket. He was very economical and looked dangerous. India's score rate was also not good. Just when the team needed Zia most, he was taken off and Rubel was brought on. Rubel's line and length was very inaccurate and he was very expensive. There were however 5 full time bowlers. There was no need to bring Mominul and Nayeem to bowl. Together they gave 28 runs unnecessarily. At the end of the innings, Zia still had 5 overs to bowl. Even the other full time bowlers had not finished their quota of overs. I believe the dew factor was a poor excuse for losing the match.
What's wrong with Mushfiq? I think he should be scrutinised for his poor decision making because this is not expected from a player of his calibre. If required, he should be given counselling.
