BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today tweeted urging to “stop killing political dissenters” to stay in power permanently.
She tweeted on her verified page remembering Siraj Sikder, a freedom fighter. She also attached a photo of Siraj with her tweet.
“Patriotic freedom fighter engineer Siraj Sikder was extrajudicially killed while in custody for his politics on Jan 2, 1975, justice has not been done,” she said in her tweet.
“The rulers kept murdering opponents after 1971 to stay in power permanently but failed. Stop killing political dissenters.”
