Outlaw held in Pabna

Police arrested a top operative of an outlawed party from Kacharipara area of the district town on Sunday.  
Police identified the arrestee, Md Alam Prang, 32, son of Fakir Prang of Shorgram village in Ataikula upazila of the district, as the regional leader of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-red flag faction).
Md Akram Hossain, officer in-charge of Ataikula Police Station, said acting on a tip off, a police team arrested Alam from the area around 7:00pm.
"Alam is accused in 14 cases including nine for murders. He was one of the most wanted criminals in the district”, the OC added.
