Guardian Life begins online claim settlement amid shutdown
Guardian life is all set to introduce Online Claim Submission (OCS) platform for its customers to submit claims digitally amid nationwide shutdown to contain coronavirus outbreak.
Corporate customers of Guardian Life from now on will be able to submit Life and Medical claims (Hospitalisation/ Outdoor Patient/ Death) via mobile, laptop or desktop at any time and from anywhere.
The claims will then be evaluated by the team from the system and eventually be paid out from the system via online payment channels, according to a press release.
"Customer First" has always been a strong resolution for Guardian Life and a commitment to pay claims is one of the core values of a life insurance company.
"This is a first for the insurance industry in Bangladesh that a life insurance company adopted secured digital solution for end-to-end claim settlement and customers will be able to receive claim payouts from the comfort of their homes," Guardian Life Managing Director and CEO MM Monirul Alam said.
"For Guardian Life, a promise is a promise and we will deliver our commitment to our customers under any circumstances," he added.
The corporate customers will be able to log directly into OCS platform, or from MyGuardian Portal, or MyGuardian app, or using Guardian Life corporate website and avail the facility.
Guardian Life has already been selling life insurance policies online through its EasyLife app and Website where customers can buy the policies within just 15 minutes from anywhere.
By end of May this year, individual policyholders will also come under the scope of this platform, the release added.
