Bangladesh Edible Oil Ltd conducts relief activity at Rupshi factory
Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL), one of the country's most trusted edible oil companies for more than two decades, has conducted relief activity at its Rupshi factory on April 12.
From its concern of social responsibilities, BEOL has provided daily essential items to 1,000 people.
Hamidullah, councilor of Ward-5 under Tarabo municipality, ward commissioner, and representative of Textile & Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi were present during the relief distribution.
On behalf of BEOL, its Head of HR and Admin Md Ainul Haque Sardar, Head of Operations Md Fakhruzzaman, Senior Manager (Factory HR & Admin) Kalyan Mitra Chakma, and other officials were also present.
Ainul Haque Sardar expressed hope that Bangladesh will be able to tackle the Covid-19 epidemic.
"Right now we need conscience and empathy amongst us," he said.
BEOL markets edible oil and rice in the country under different brands including Rupchanda, Meizan, Fortune, Veola, and King's.
