Feni arson victim dies at DMCH
A pickup van driver, who was burnt in an arson attack by blockaders recently, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital this morning.
Hailed from Comilla, Hossain (whose full name was not known), succumbed to his injuries at Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of DMCH around 10:00am, said Dr Samanta Lal Sen, adviser to the unit.
Hossain was shifted to DMCH from Feni with 60 percent burn injuries.
Details about the arson attack could not be known immediately.
With this, at least 72 people have been killed so far with many of them burnt alive in arson attacks since the BNP-led 20-party alliance’s blockade started on January 6.
