Obituary

Muhammad Hedayetul Haque died of old-age complications at a hospital in Uttara on Wednesday night. He was 76.
A former economic adviser to the Bangladesh finance ministry, he also served as an economist (fiscal policy) under the Commonwealth Secretariat, London.
He left behind his wife, three daughters and four grandsons. He was buried at Banani graveyard.
