Obituary

Nafiz Alam died of a heart attack at his home in Tallahassee of Florida in USA on August 2. He was 56.

He left behind his wife and two children. He was buried in the capital's Banani graveyard.

He obtained a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from Jacksonville State University in Alabama.

He worked at Apalachee Center in Tallahassee as a programme supervisor for rehabilitation and social reintegration of mental health patients.
