Obituary

Kazi Abdur Rashid, a freedom fighter, a member of Awami League central committee and former lawmaker of Gopalganj-1 constituency, died at his Kalyanpur residence in the capital on Thursday night, aged 82.
He left behind his three sons and a daughter. Rashid was buried at Nabinbagh Poura graveyard in Gopalganj with state honour yesterday.
