Obama congratulates Bangalees on Pahela Baishakh

US President Barack Obama has greeted the Bangalee community across the world marking Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year.
US Secretary of State John Kerry, on behalf of the president, said, “As you gather with family and friends to celebrate the New Year, know that the United States stands with you as a partner and friend. Shubho Nobo Borsho!”
