NZ win by 9 runs via D/L method
First rain of the season forced the Duckworth-Lewis method to come into play, handing a nine-run victory to New Zealand over England in a group match of World T20 in Chittagong this evening.
The Kiwis, in response to England's 172, scored 52 runs with loss of one wicket off 5.2 overs, before the torrent disrupted the match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Earlier, the Kiwis won the toss and elected to field first.
Moeen Ali, Michael Lumb and Jos Butler scored 36, 33 and 32 runs respectively.
Corey Anderson picked up two wickets while other four Kiwi bowlers picked up one wicket each.
