Biman increases domestic flights in summer
Biman Bangladesh Airlines yesterday increased the frequency of flights on domestic routes against the backdrop of a growing number of local and foreign tourists.
As per the new summer flight schedule, the national flag carrier will operate an extra flight every Saturday, Monday and Thursday alongside one running daily on the Dhaka-Cox's Bazar route, said a press release.
A one-way flight will cost Tk 4,000.
The weekly flights have also been increased on routes of Dhaka-Chittagong (from 30 to 32), Dhaka-Sylhet (from 31 to 34), Dhaka-Jessore (from seven to eight) and Dhaka-Barisal (from two to three).
Besides, Biman will operate three weekly flights on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar route charging Tk 1,500 for a one-way flight.
