Warne returning
Australia's match-winning leg-spin bowler Shane Warne showed some off some of his old magic here Sunday, further encouraging the Australian squad ahead of next month's one-day World Cup contest.
Aiming to recapture top form in time for the four-yearly showpiece in South Africa and Zimbabwe, Warne snapped up 2-41 from 10 overs in only his second match since injuring his right bowling shoulder more than a month ago.
Warne said he was happy with his performance for Victoria in a limited-overs match against Tasmania, but was still unsure when he would return to the Australian team.
Australian coach John Buchanan has said he expected Warne to be back on international during the tri-nations series finals, which open in Sydney Thursday.
England appear likely to face the home side in the best-of-three showdown.
Despite Warne's efforts Sunday, Victoria lost by three wickets.
