University of Asia Pacific Wins Award for its Research Paper

Department of Civil Engineering of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) recently submitted five separate technical papers at an international conference, titled “Third International Conference on Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies (SCMT3)” -- to be held in Kyoto, Japan from August 18-21, 2013. UAP's Department of Civil Engineering has been conducting research on Sustainable Development of Concrete Construction Works in Bangladesh since 2004 and the papers were submitted on basis of these research reports. The papers were accepted for publication and presentation during the conference proceedings. Two of the five papers were selected as award winners and the authors of these papers will receive certificates on August 20 during the conference.
A total of 500 technical papers were submitted, out of which only twelve papers were selected for possible publication in the Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering of American Society of Civil Engineers.
