UNB-Bangla TV agreement

United News of Bangladesh (UNB) has signed an agreement with London-based Bangla TV Ltd to supply news items, reports UNB.

Chief Editor and Managing Director of UNB Enayetullah Khan and Programme Director of Bangla TV Sayed Golam Dastagir Nishad signed the agreement in the city yesterday.

UNB has already started supplying international, national and rural news to the Bangla TV on an experimental basis.

Bangla TV is the first digital TV in Bangla language that broadcasts 30-minute news bulletin three times every day.

Bangla TV, nominated by the Independent Television Commission of the British government, launched its programme on January 16 last year.
