Trader stabbed to death in Sylhet

Criminals stabbed a rice trader to death at Moina village in Kanaighat upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased was Abul Kalam Minar, 40, son of late Sarafat Ali of Noyamati village in the same upazila.
Locals said, a gang of criminals swooped on Abul Kalam at about 10.30 pm and hacked him with sharp weapons while he was returning home after saying tarabi prayers, leaving him injured.
Kalam died on way to hospital.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
