Tk 3cr medicine seized in city

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Saturday seized illegal medicine worth about Tk 3 crore from several outlets at Mitford Market in the old part of the capital.

In a day-long drive, Rab-10 personnel with the help of the drug administration made the seizure from 42 shops and also detained 51 persons.

The recovered medicines include not-for-sale-outside medicine provided by the government, illegally imported medicine, and expired drugs.

Captain Md Mafizur Rahman of Rab-10 Lalbagh Camp told this to The Daily Star.
