The Obituary

Rising Stars, was put to rest on the 27th of June, 2013, during complications that arose from an attack by its members who felt that the tag of 'teen' had weighed them down for far too long. The 22-year old Rising Star's demise was met by the immediate hospitalisation of its two mates, “Fun” and “Laughter”. The first and only Teen Magazine of Bangladesh was bidden farewell by well-over 10000 of its well-wisher but numbers could not be transformed into figures needed to sustain the use of its life-support. Rising Stars' fame, although widespread elsewhere, was never quite understood by those who had seen it closely. Its value was undermined and in the end its great potential was handed to the next torch-bearer. Funeral arrangements for the deceased have not yet been made but as has been a tradition forever, in its will Rising ensured that there will be cake. We request all the well-wishers take part in the countrywide wake arranged at 7 pm tonight by having a slice of cake.
