The Netherlands to give financial support for IT dev

The Netherlands will provide 6 million Euros as financial support to facilitate the export growth of IT exporters in four countries including Bangladesh.
The support will be a part of NTF-III (Netherlands Trust Fund) project, a continuation of NTF-II project, which ended recently, and it will contribute significantly for the growth of Bangladeshi IT exporters in recent years, said a press release of BASIS yesterday.
The NTF-III partnership agreement was signed by Jean-Marie Paugam, executive director of ITC, and Hans Klunder, managing director of CBI, The Netherlands at the World Trade Organization's headquarters recently.
BASIS President Fahim Mashroor and Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen, among other officials of ITC and CBI, attended the event.
The project will be implemented by International Trade Centre (ITC), Geneva with the support of local trade support bodies including BASIS.
