Technical body formed to identify risky Ctg hills

A seven-member technical body of Divisional Hill Management Committee was formed yesterday to identify all risky hills in Chittagong city and it was asked to submit a report within a month.
The newly formed technical committee is headed by Department of Environment Director Zafar Alom.
The order came at a meeting held in the city's Circuit House conference room with Divisional Commissioner Md Abdullah in the chair.
The technical committee was asked to submit its report before the hill management committee's next meeting, scheduled to be held between July 10 and 15, said Humayun Kabir, member secretary of the hill management committee.
