T20 cricket in Bangladesh Games

The cricket competition of the Bangladesh Games will start on April 21, a day after the commencement of the Games.
It will be the first time in the history of the game that cricket has been included through the Twenty20 format where seven divisional teams—Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Rangpur, Chittagong, Rajshahi and Sylhet- and Dhaka Metro taking part in the knock-out basis. All the matches will be held at the Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogra. And four teams will exit from the tournament after playing only one match.
The national selectors announced the eight teams yesterday.
In the opening day's matches, Khulna will take on Barisal at 9am and Dhaka face off with Rangpur at 2pm.
The two semifinals will be held on April 24 and the final is slated for April 26.
