Suspension of Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan withdrawn

The government yesterday withdrew the suspension order of Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, four months after the former bridges division secretary was released on bail in February in a Padma bridge graft case.
Expressing happiness over the order, Mosharraf told The Daily Star last night that he will join the public administration ministry as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD). He was arrested and sent to jail on last December 26. Prior to his arrest, he was the executive chairman of Economic Zone Authority at the Prime Minister's Office. The Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating the case against Mosharraf and the others.
