Student found dead in Ctg city

Minutes after attending a class, a dental college student was found dead on Chittagong International Dental College premises at Chandgaon in the port city yesterday.
Jahedul Islam, 21, of Boalkhali upzaila, was a first-year student.
Dr Muslim Uddin Sabuj, principal of the college, said Jahedul attended a class till 11:20am and within 10 minutes other students found the body lying beside the nine-storey hospital building, a few distance away from the college building.
Part of the flesh in the waist was smashed in and the left hand and left leg were broken, said Chandgaon police.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
Police could not ascertain whether Jahedul was killed or committed suicide. A murder case was filed.
A four-member probe body was formed to investigate the matter.
