STUCK
In an urban setting like Dhaka, everyone has his/her own life; at times we're oblivious to each other's existence. We wake up in the morning, go out for work or study, and come back home at night. City folks get few opportunities to take a long breath. Overpopulated urban jungles don't allow space for everything; it limits our boundaries and alienates us from the rest of the world -- causing our social nature to rust. We look for fresh air here and there -- through the open windows, on the rooftop, and sometimes out in the madding crowd -- but our attempts end in smoke. Even the rooftops, the place of solace, would have clothes hanging here and there closing in on our space. Time and again we feel an urge to get rid of this asphyxiation, but realise that we are stuck in a never-ending cycle. We have no choice but to make the best of what we have. Even being stuck can be amusing at times.
