Stocks gain

The prices of most shares on the country's premier bourse climbed on Tuesday, to continue the last day's gaining streak.

DSEX, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 62 points to reach 3,979 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 228 advanced, 36 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

A total of 79,333 trades were executed with Tk 323 crore changing hands.

On Monday, the trading at DSE reached 3,916 points after gaining 24 points.
