Stocks upbeat

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse gained on Wednesday, to continue upward trend for the last three days.

DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 6 points to reach 3,738 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 155 advanced, 101 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

A total of 82,354 trades were executed with Tk 209 crore changing hands.

On Tuesday, the trading at DSE reached 3,732 points after gaining 67 points.
