Stocks dip

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse plunged on Wednesday, to continue the downtrend of the last trading day.

DSEX, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), dropped 13 points to reach 4068 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 148 declined, 107 advanced and 32 remained unchanged.

A total of 115,927 trades were executed with Tk 565 crore changing hands.

On Tuesday, the trading at DSE reached 4082 points after losing 1.24 points.
