Stocks back to the red again

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse plunged again on Thursday after witnessing gain for the last two days.

DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed 16 points to reach 3,657 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 126 advanced, 116 declined while 23 remained unchanged.

A total of 57,302 trades were executed with Tk 145 crore changing hands.

On Wednesday, the trading at DSE reached 3,673 points after gaining 18 points.
