Fulfilling a mother's wish

The winners of "Mayer Ichha Puron" are fulfilling their mothers' wishes. Syeda Oyshe, one of the winners, recently executed her mother's dream by feeding the children of the Baitus Salam Jame Mosque orphanage in Mohammadpur.

Mayer Ichha Puron was a Mother's Day special digital campaign initiated by The Daily Star and CBL Munchee Milkas. The readers were given an opportunity to fulfill the dreams of their ever-loving mothers. To take part, a reader submitted a photograph taken with their mother along with a story that explained about a special wish their mother possesses.

A total of 252 people took part in the campaign and 10 of them were chosen as winners. The two best stories received the prize money of Tk 50,000 to fulfill their mothers' wishes.
