Spelling Bee in Sylhet

The first Divisional Round of The Daily Star Spelling Bee, in Sylhet, will air at 7:50pm tonight on Channel i. Here the competition moves forward with the words getting tougher as the best spellers from Sylhet have to be picked.
“We did not try to give the speller any leeway when setting up the word bank. We were surprised with the standards of the spellers last year, so we knew this time around that the competition would be equally good if not better,” said Surovi Alam, one of the Spelling Bee judges from champs21.com.
Some familiar faces from last year's Divisional Round will be appearing this year as well. The highlights from the written and the oral rounds will be shown along with some surprises and shockers from the spellers.
