Some changes in Admin

The government has made some changes in its administration, reports UNB.

Textile Secretary Sirajul Islam has been appointed the Labour and Employment Secretary, Acting Secretary of Rural Development and Cooperative Division Golam Rahman made Acting Commerce Secretary, and Director of voter ID card project under Election Commission Helaluddin Khan was transferred to the Textiles Ministry as Acting Secretary.

Additional Secretary of Parliament Amiangshu Sen was made Acting Secretary of Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperative Division while Principal of Planning and Development Academy Arbinda Kar was made Acting Secretary of Power Division and Additional Home Secretary Syed Abdur Rab was appointed Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

Director General of Family Planning Dhiraj Kumar Nath was transferred to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as Additional Secretary.

The tenure of contractual appointment of member of Public Administration and Reforms Commission Aminul Islam was extended from January 7 to May 31.

Joint Secretary (retd) of the government Jatindra Prosad Tanchanga was appointed on contract-basis chief executive officer of CHT regional council for two years with effect from his joining in the office.

NIPORT Director General Shafiuddin Ahmed was appointed Director General of Family Welfare Directorate on deputation while Joint Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Anil Chandra Singh as Director General of NIPORT, Joint Secretary of Establishment Ministry Azizul Haque Bhuiyan chairman of BRTA, Joint Secretary of Commerce Ministry Ziaul Islam Chowdhury chairman of BSCIC and Officer on Special Duty (joint secretary) of Establishment Ministry Mohammad Musa Director General of Disaster Management Bureau.

Joint Secretary of Women and Children Affairs Ministry Shafiqul Islam was transferred as Joint Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare while OSD (joint secretary) of Establishment Ministry Deena Haque as Joint Secretary to Women and Family Welfare Ministry and Principal of National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute AKM Abu Bakar Siddique as Joint Secretary to Commerce Ministry.

Abdus Samad was appointed Member (Engineering) of Rural Electrification Board for two years term on contractual basis with effect from the date of his joining after cancellation of his LPR.

Additional Secretary of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Syed Tanvir Hossain was appointed Chief Insurance Controller of Insurance Directorate under the Commerce Ministry.
