School cricket Islamia High champs

Islamia High School clinched the Standard Chartered 21st National School Cricket Championship (Gaibandha region) beating Gaibandha Government Boys High School by four wickets in the final at Gaibandha Govt Boys High School ground yesterday.

Winning in the toss, Gaibandha Govt Boys batted first and scored 139 runs all out in 28 overs. In reply, Islamia made 142 runs for six wickets in 26.2 overs. Johnny of Islamia was declared man-of-the-match.
