Road crashes kill 4

Four people were killed and nine others injured in road accidents in Chittagong, Chapainawabganj and Tangail yesterday.
Our staff correspondent from Chittagong reports, two persons were killed and at least seven others injured when a bus fell into a ditch beside Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chhoto Darogarhat area of Sitakunda upazila yesterday morning.
One of the deceased was Masud, 28, of Kachua village of Senbag upazila of Noakhali.
Our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports, a girl died as a human hauler ran her over at Solaiman Bazar in Shibganj upazila yesterday.
The deceased was Shanti, 3, daughter of Saifuddin Ahmed of Shib Narayanpur village in the upazila.
Our Tangail correspondent adds, a man was killed and two others injured in a collision between a private car and a truck at Kalihati upazila in Tangail yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Mozammel Hossain, 40, of Ullapara in Sirajganj.
