Road crashes kill 3

Three people were killed in road accidents in Bhola, Naogaon and Comilla yesterday. Our Bhola correspondent reports, Priyolal Chandra Das, 49, a schoolteacher of Kashemganj Secondary School died as a human hauler hit him on Char Fasson-Aicha road in Char Fasson upazila yesterday noon.Locals and students of the school blocked the road demanding punishment for the driver.Our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports, a motorcyclist was killed and his co-rider injured when a truck hit the bike on Naogaon-Rajshahi road at Gobindapur in Manda upazila of Naogaon yesterday.The deceased was identified as Mohammad Oli, 25, son of Abdul Kader of Azizpur village in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi.Injured Sattar was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.A correspondent from Comilla adds, a woman died as a bus ran her over on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Roypur in Daudkandi upazila yesterday evening.The deceased was Josna Begum, 50, wife Nazrul Islam of Bolarampur village in Titas upazila.
