Let us extend our full support to the new CEO of Biman. We have a large number of passengers but due to poor management, Biman has been in the red. I am confident that a competent manager could make our national carrier a profitable airline. All the best, Kevin!

Amid all the chaos, this is such an outstanding news! Carry on. How about other sectors? We need more of international calibre managers from Europe to increase the competitiveness and also give the locals opportunities to learn from their style and experience.

We wish you all the best, Mr. Kevin! Great initiatives indeed. We want to see our own airline among the top names. In fact, we should thank the board of directors of Biman to employ a competent CEO at last.

My dad was scheduled to fly on 12th April, 2013 at 9.00pm to Muscat. On reaching the airport at 8.00 pm, we were informed that Biman staff cancelled his ticket and seat "by mistake". We got a later ticket for Monday, 15th April 9pm flight. The flight took off on time (thankfully), reached Chittagong, and turned back to Dhaka for technical difficulties and flew the next day 16th April 2013 at 11.30 am.
By the way, my parents have been flying in Biman since 1987 just for the love of the country. My heartfelt good wishes to Mr. Kevin John Steele, to improve the overall condition of the carrier; people are counting on you.

We welcome Mr. Kevin's steps. We request him to please ask his admin to inspect the toilets of the airport, particularly the female section and make sure that those are of international standard.

I'll start flying Biman again which I have boycotted many years ago. Thank you, Mr Kevin.

It would be truly awesome if Mr. Kevin could bring a change to this age-old curse of our country.

Welcome aboard Kevin. I am so glad that Kevin is with us now with his knowledge and experience. All the initiatives Kevin is talking about are worth taking. His initiatives on establishing and maintaining “on time performance” and money-saving steps are perfectly alright. Kevin should also fix holes in tender and purchasing. Another wound which is bleeding Biman is loss of excess baggage revenue. Kevin should place effective mechanism to stop this.

Kevin Steele really needs to be steely and whip the dead horse into a better flying machine.

Once everything is fixed, please go full on with the advertising and marketing, possibly a re-branding of the national carrier. The change has to be massive and not only catch the Bangladeshis eyes but international travellers too. Good luck to the team.

Good to see the determination of Mr. Kevin John Steele.

It will be a long journey to turn the company around. However, looks like this man is trying. Kudos!

Bangladeshi Biman executives will now get to learn how to run a company properly, with instructions from a man who knows what he is doing.
