Rajshahi, Rangpur in final

Rajshahi and Rangpur will face off in tomorrow's final of the cricket event of 8th Bangladesh Games at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Mizanur Rahman hit an unbeaten 56 as Rajshahi romped into the final with an eight-wicket victory over Khulna in the first semifinal yesterday. Rajshahi scored 99 for two in 12.5 overs in reply to Khulna's 97 all out in 17.5 overs. Imrul Kayes made 45 for the losers.
In the day's rain-interrupted second semifinal, Rangpur defeated Dhaka Metro by 42 runs in D/L method to ensure that the gold remains in north.
Rain stopped play after 14.2 overs when Dhaka were 86 for six, falling short by 42 runs of the required 128 as per the D/L method. Earlier Naeem Islam struck 60 and Dhiman Ghosh 55 as Rangpur piled up 173 for 5 in their share of 20 runs.
