Rafiq, IG police visit injured rickshawpuller

Home Minister Major (Rtd) Rafiqul Islam and the IG of police yesterday visited injured rickshaw puller Mohammad Ali at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, reports UNB.

The 35-year old rickshawpuller received burn injuries when pickets set fire to his vehicle in front of Jagannath College during Tuesday's hartal.

The minister inquired about the condition of Ali and assured necessary assistance. He also asked the attending physicians to take due care for his early recovery.
