Proshika's annual confce held

Dr Kazi Faruk Ahmed, founder of Proshika Manobik Unnayan Kendra, has been reelected as its chairman.
An eleven-member governing committee was formed at Proshika's 37th annual conference at its head office in the capital's Mirpur area on May 31.
Other members of the committee include  Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Imtiaz Mahmud, Advocate Rafiqul Islam, Colonel (retd) Abdul Matin, eminent physician Dr Noshad-un-Nobi, human rights leader and Dhaka University senate member Nargis Jahan Banu, industrialist Kazi Rafi Ahmed, women leaders Jeb-un-nesa Jaman Bakul and Mahbuba Begum, Trinamul leaders SM Shah Alam and Abdul Hamid Fakir.
