Prof Mizanur reappointed NHRC chief

Prof Mizanur Rahman has been appointed as the chairman of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for three more years.

President Abdul Hamid made the appointment following recommendations by a selection committee headed by the parliament Speaker.

The NHRC in a press release said Prof Mizanur started his office on Sunday as his first three-year tenure ended on June 22.
