Prof Harun-or-Rashid new VC of National University

Dr Harun-or-Rashid, professor of the political science department of Dhaka University (DU), has been appointed as the vice chancellor of National University (NU).
President Zillur Rahman, chancellor of NU, appointed him yesterday. Later, the education ministry issued an order in this regard.
The tenure of immediate past NU VC Dr Quazi Shahidullah ended on February 24.
Apart from teaching at political science department, Prof Harun was also the pro-VC of the DU.
