President's brother dies

Md Abdur Razzak, younger brother of president-elect Abdul Hamid, died of lung cancer at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Tuesday.

He breathed his last at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of BSMMU at 11:45am, said Atiqur Rahman, an assistant proctor of BSMMU.

Hamid has expressed deep condolence at the death of his brother and also prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.
