Prep cricket match today

The national team, now preparing for the 2003 Cricket World Cup, will play an exhibition limited-overs match against a combined National League selection at the BKSP ground today.

But young paceman Mashrafee-bin Murtaza will not be playing in the match because of a stomach upset. The sensational 18-year-old quickie also did not turn up in the nets at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

Mashrafee has been absent from the national team for nearly a year due to multiple injury.
