Opposition calls 8-hr hartal in Ctg tomorrow

CHITTAGONG, Jan 21: BNP-led opposition alliance has called an eight-hour hartal beginning at 6 am here on Sunday to protest the killing of a student of Government Mohsin College allegedly by BCL activists, reports UNB.
Salahuddin, a degree examinee, was abducted by a group of youths in front of Zahur Hawkers' Market Thursday afternoon and his bullet-ridden body was recovered from Ishapur in Hathazari today.

The opposition alliance announced the hartal at a rally after the namaj-e-janaja of Salahuddin here in the afternoon.

Earlier, Chhatra Shibir filed a case accusing Chhatra League activists of the abduction and killing.
