One gets 17-yr RI for keeping illegal arms in Khulna

KHULNA, Jan 19: The special tribunal No-3, Khulna, has awarded 17 years RI to Shajahan Morhol, 32, of village Rarhuli under Paikgachha thana of Khulna district for keeping illegal arms and ammunition.

Shahjahan Morhol, also a leader of Paikgachha thana Awami League was arrested on September 22, 1998 from his village home with a pipegun and three bullets. Nine prosecution witnesses were cross-examined in the tribunal.
