Ocean Paradise to add colours to Pahela Baishakh

Ocean Paradise Hotel and Resort will celebrate the upcoming Bengali New Year 1420 -- Pahela Baishakh -- with four-day long events from April 12.
The events of the five-star facility of international standards in Cox's Bazar will include a morning rally to Laboni Beach, monkey-dance show, face painting, folk songs and skits displaying different Bangladeshi traditional new year practices.
The hotel will also hold a 'Baishakhi Mela' in the lobby, and the whole resort will be decorated with traditional items, the hotel said in a statement yesterday.
Associates of the resort who serve guests will also be attired traditionally, according to the statement.
