North-eastern Bangladesh in danger
Geographers have proclaimed that several parts of India and north-eastern Bangladesh are in a seismic zone that is prone to earthquakes. Every one hundred years, a terrible tremor usually occurs. The last massive earthquake took place in the early 1900s. A century has passed after that. Therefore, at any moment the people of this region will have to confront a catastrophe. But the question is, are these people ready to deal with the predicted tremor yet?
The answer is 'No!' People are building high-rise towers and skyscrapers which could be deadly during earthquakes. If half of our population is injured, there won't be enough space for everyone in the hospitals. It's time people thought about these problems and secured their lives.
