No EVM in next JS polls: Official

No electronic voting machine (EVM) will be used during the 10th parliamentary election, Election Commissioner Brigadier Gen (retd) Mohammad Jabed Ali said on Monday.

Ali was talking to reporters during a view-exchanging meeting at the EC's Sylhet divisional office in the afternoon, reports our Sylhet correspondent.

However, city corporation elections scheduled to be held in Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal and Rajshahi on June 15 will be held under the EVM system, Ali said.
