No class, exam held at Sust for strike
No class, examination and administrative activities were held at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust), Sylhet yesterday for a strike called by Bangladesh Chhatra League.
The university was scheduled to open yesterday after 19 days vacation.
About 30 to 35 BCL leaders and activists stopped all university buses in Madina market area around 7:30am.
Earlier on May 13, the Sust authorities at a syndicate meeting suspended all academic activities until May 30 following the clashes between several factions of the pro-Awami League student organisation.
On May 11, eight factions of the BCL unit called the indefinite strike to press home their three-point demand.
